I am a dork #5

Apparently when one takes up knitting one suddenly becomes suseptible to an almost viral appreciation of woven baskets.

To wit, I think this design is incredibly cool.

Honey.. stop now before the baskets run your house.. I swear I have a friend that you cant walk anywhere in her house cause of the damn baskets!!

I can't stand woven baskets, or anything wicker.

Ahhhhhh. I've always thought wicker/rattan all that kind of stuff is cheap looking???

I cross-stitch and all my stuff is kept in a cool bag.

ah wicker I'm going into convulsions.

Actually it's bamboo not wicker. Which is cool because bamboo is an easily renewable source. But personal taste changes with the person so it's probably the wicker look you dislike so strongly. Have to wonder what happens to you when you see really ugly stuff though..you know, since wicker can send you into convulsions.
