I have some great scarf photos to post today. One is knit by a client named Kathleen using one of my gypsy scarf kits. She bought the Tall Vanilla Latte one.
She said it was really fun to knit and she gets all kinds of compliments when she wears it. Yay!!
And this is the scarf I knit for the client that ordered a scarf with handspun earth toned beaded yarn.
I knit this one lengthwise too. I'm really in that lengthwise knit scarf mode.
I finally have a name for it: Mom's Macrame Scarf since Jocelyn said it reminded her of her mom's macrame projects. It reminded me of my mom's macrame too. No feathers on this like some stuff my mom made. Maybe next time.
I love the earth toned scarf and i am working on your meme!

I love the lengthwise scarves. they're so easy to knit and I love the different look it gives it. Your scarf kits are so cool!

so pretty! the other thing that is really nice is that they really let the yarns speak for themselves in the best way possible. i find that often people aren't exactly sure what to do with bulkyish handspun and they make clumsy looking things. these are perfecto! and i like how the blog looks, too!
i have missed ya lately!

Ooooohhhh... Mom's Macrame turned out really well. I like it!
You know, I was going to give you a call yesterday and see if you wanted to chat while I dusted stuff, but I never got past the laundry portion of my day. I always thought your Mom's chat with her friend while they were doing housework that they didn't like. Would you like to try that out next weekend?

Um, the words "was a great idea" should be in my last post somewhere...

Miss Noelle, I saw this thing : http://www.xanga.com/liquidwith/534484464/the-free-scarf-movement.html while browsing for other things, and thought it might be something up your alley if you hadn't already seen it. I'm guessing you've already seen it. But it reminded me of you! And of things that I have planned for you. That I'm still working on. (Because I'm a slacker, things take longer than normal).
