Here are some random thoughts I've had about weblog doohickies today.
Why doesn't blogrolling allow you to have more than ten blogrolls? I'd be willing to pay an extra buck or two for a few additional ones rather than have to set up a separate blogroll account and pay ten bucks again. Not to save the ten dollars but to avoid having to migrate between two blogroll accounts.
Why does the 'find on page' function in Firefox 1 not search within text boxes, like for example the text boxes for templates in movable type? I know it did with 0.9.
Why is blog explosion more worried about the voters than the votees in this rating game nonsense? Why couldn't we have the option to choose whether or not we want to be rated (like we can with be comments) as Sam has suggested?
Why doesn't the category selection drop-down menu reflect the categories and sub-categories in Movable Type? Is there any way to list posts alphabetically in a category archive in Movable Type (apparently there is, thanks Mr Payne!)
I can answer your last question, I think.
Replace the <MTEntries> tag with <MTEntries sort_by="title" sort_order="ascend">.

Don't get me started on making ratings optional.
I ranted about it a couple weeks ago and was told to suck it up or cancel my account.

1: mmmmm, integrated (unlimited) blogrolls in WordPress are a blessing. I know, nobody likes a gloater.
2: That is the only thing that pisses me off about FF, I was working on templates in a text box before the new release. Not so helpful if you need to search an entire index for something, are you listening Mozilla?
3: That Sam guy sounds like a great thinker for our times. ;) I suspect that if not that then something is reducing the number of people using BE. They claim not, but has anyone else noticed that when you surf now, you win credits left, right and centre?
p.s. A bit of feedback, are you aware that you have to scroll down 10 screens to get to your comment text box? Or is that some stealthy device to confuse idiots? :D

This rating thing annoys me.. The true test of your rating is if someone returns to your blog because they choose to. .

In order to control comment spam, comments are automatically disabled on entries older than 30 days using Conversation Killer. This entry is over 30 days old so comments are now closed.
If you'd still like to share your thoughts there are several options: You can email me or use the contact form on the sidebar - let me know you want it posted here and I'll include whatever info you want. Or you can visit the most recent post and leave a comment there. Thanks!
