Finally finished the other rayon boucle scarf this afternoon. I didn’t have the fiesta shoulder scarf pattern I was basing it on so I sort of made it up - casting on about 75 stitches and increasing on both sides every other row. I was also knowingly working with about half the yarn the pattern called for. But I wanted to make two scarves from that skein so it’s a fairly small shoulder scarf - but it makes a nice head scarf too.

My sister’s birthday was on the 18th so I’ve been working on a bias stole for her. It’s going to take me a while but isn’t that La Boheme yarn beautiful?

There are more images in the photo journal for which I’ve set up some syndication feeds in case anyone wants to know when I’ve uploaded photos because I don’t always post about them in the main weblog.

Did you get the Fiesta Yarn at the outlet location? The scarves look great!
So cool Noelle! I got myself some tequila sunrise (how can you pass up a yarn with a name like that?) too–made a funky scarf. I’m anxious to see the Adirondack shawl finished–the colors are gorgeous! lookin’ good!
Ah, they’re lovely. I particularly like the colours of the stole. [: Makes me want to invest in some fancier yarn. I’m getting tired of Red Heart and LionBrand.
So Pretty! That La Boheme yarn rocks.
But where’s the knitting project model? Winter would look so pretty in those!
You know, I was just looking at Justin’s blog, and thinking “He should blog more often, I have no clue what he’s been up to lately.” When I realized that maybe there’s a log I ought to remove from my own eye. But I’m feeling lazy and want to go buy a shower caddy instead, so I’m dropping in to say I miss you and I love you, and I hope you’re doing well, and I’m enjoying the hell out of the women of history month on your blog.
You rock.
I love that colour; whenever I see it, it feels like winter time.
